At Words Kitchen, we strive to develop students' articulation skills in Mandarin through our effective 4-step structure. Starting from 2016, MOE has made changes to the Primary and Secondary School Chinese Oral Examination format. Students have to watch a video clip and present a related verbal report to the examiner. This is a test of students' ability in establishing their own insights and self expression skills in Mandarin. A higher weightage in the Composition writing and Oral component also means a greater emphasis on students' writing and speaking skills in the Chinese Language examination, and we are committed to fully prepare our students for the challenge. Materials will be provided for all classes.
Primary School Programme
Oral and Composition Training (口试和作文培训班)
*Suitable for P4 to P6 Standard and Higher Chinese
In this programme, students will......
1. Learn various brainstorming techniques which aid in content expansion for the oral and composition components.
2. Learn how to structure the content in an organised manner.
3. Learn how to read fluently and expressively
A new topic will be discussed every week, so as to expand the content knowledge of the students.

Comprehension and Close Passage Practice

In this programme, students will......
1. Learn about the techniques to answer the various kinds of Comprehension questions.
2. Learn the techniques to do speed reading.
3. Be introduced to a list of important vocabulary and learn how to fit them into the different sentence structures.
